San Raffaele Roma University has prioritised internationalisation, as outlined in the Strategic Plan developed by the Institution. Additionally, the University participates in the national accreditation system for the Evaluation of Research Quality (VQR). A key aspect of this accreditation system is the focus on the connection between research quality and internationalisation, which the university actively supports among its academic staff. To this aim, the University has established  a  Global Mobility Team (GMT).

The university’s educational offerings are delivered in e-learning mode via the internet and new digital technologies. This method not only accelerates and optimises the dissemination of information and knowledge, but also promotes inclusive internationalisation processes by allowing students to access the teaching platform from any location at any time, thereby overcoming spatial and temporal barriers.

In response to the new normal, which has necessitated  a reshaping and rethinking of both online and traditional universities' learning processes and experiences, San Raffaele Roma University aims to utilise its digital, physical, and relational infrastructure to foster virtuous internationalisation actions and to promote full, blended, and virtual mobility for both students and researchers.

Furthermore, San Raffaele Roma University is committed to active collaboration with Institutions and the job market to become a key development, both nationally and internationally.

Accordingly, San Raffaele Roma University recognises the crucial role of the Erasmus + programme in achieving its strategic objectives, enhancing its international network, and promoting an inclusive, sustainable, and equitable mobility experience for both researchers and students, thus actively contributing to the European Research and Education Area
